Lyrids Peak Could Bring Northern Lights Across Nearly 25 U.S. States
NOAA says the northern lights could be visible in up to about 25 U.S. states, with Alaska having the best odds, on the night the Lyrids meteor shower peaks (April 21–22); observers farther south, including Nebraska, may also see faint auroras if conditions align, and the aurora-forecast tool has been restored after an outage.
