Lenovo confirmed on its forum that the Legion Go BIOS update (N3CN42WW) bricked some handhelds and that the issue was not user error. Repairs will be covered under warranty (and free of charge for out-of-warranty cases where local laws require it), with the faulty update removed from Lenovo's site.
