Dior PR Leader Mathilde Favier Dies in Car Crash at 57
Dior announced the accidental death of Mathilde Favier, its longtime international PR director, in a car crash that also claimed her partner, Nicolas Altmayer. Dior chief Bernard Arnault and Delphine Arnault paid tribute to her warmth, talent and loyalty, noting she helped shape the house’s public image and VIP relations with stars like Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence and Jisoo. A Paris-born tastemaker, Favier rose from Chanel internships to Prada and then Dior, where she spent about 15 years, published a coffee-table book, and built a wide network; she leaves two children, Héloïse and Carlo.
