GameStop Posts Record Q2 2026 Operating Income as Collectibles Soar and EBITDA Outlook Rises
GameStop reported Q2 2026 net sales of $790.2 million (down from $972.2 million a year earlier) but achieved a record quarterly operating income of $160.2 million, driven by a 57% increase in Collectibles net sales to $356.3 million. Net income was $298.7 million and adjusted EBITDA was $174.0 million, with the company raising its FY2026 Adjusted EBITDA outlook to over $650 million. The quarter introduced a three-category sales mix (Collectibles, Video Games, Pre-Owned/Refurbished) and ended with about $5.4 billion in liquidity, including roughly $4.9 billion in eBay stock; debt was reduced to about $2.8 billion after recent convertible note exchanges.
