
Intel tops Q2, raises Q3 outlook on AI-led demand
Intel beat Q2 estimates with EPS of $0.38 on $16.1 billion revenue, vs. $0.21 and $14.43B expected, and guided Q3 revenue to $15.8–$16.8B (above consensus). Data-center revenue reached about $6.3B and client computing about $8.9B; the company is boosting AI-focused investments and its foundry efforts. Intel also announced layoffs in its data-center unit as part of a broader restructuring. Shares jumped roughly 7% on the news.
