Inspire Brands readies IPO with roughly $20B valuation goal
Inspire Brands, the owner of Dunkin, Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Baskin Robbins, Sonic Drive-In and Jimmy John’s, confidentially filed to go public, with backer Roark Capital reportedly aiming for about a $20 billion valuation. The group operates more than 33,300 restaurants and posts roughly $33.4 billion in annual sales, a result of its 2018 formation and a string of acquisitions including taking Dunkin and Baskin Robbins private in 2020. While the U.S. IPO market has been tepid, it could improve later this year, with Jersey Mike’s also pursuing a listing.
