Skydance Names Powell Jobs, Kotick, and Blair to New Board
The newly formed media company Skydance has appointed Laurene Powell Jobs and Bobby Kotick as independent directors, with former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair joining as a board advisor. The appointments follow the official closure of the $110 billion merger between Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery, which was renamed Skydance. David Ellison, the chairman and CEO, stated that these additions bring fresh perspectives and experience to help build the combined entity into a major industry player.
