Aperture Opens Public Gallery and HQ on the Upper West Side
After four years of planning and a major renovation, Aperture opens its Upper West Side headquarters at 380 Columbus Avenue, featuring an exhibition gallery, a small bookshop, and office space for 30 staff, with a rotating public-facing program anchored by the opening show “Aperture Loves New York” and free or low-cost talks in a 45-seat event space; the project preserves historic building quirks while providing public access to its archive and books.
