iPhone 18 Pro's Bigger Battery Fails to Outlast Android in Longevity, EPREL Data Shows
EU EPREL data show the iPhone 18 Pro has a 4,056 mAh battery (Pro) and the Pro Max 5,391 mAh, larger than many rivals, but its long‑term health lags Android flagships: about 80% capacity after 1,000 charging cycles for the iPhone, while Galaxy S26 variants extend to roughly 1,200 cycles and the OnePlus 15 around 1,400. The Galaxy S26 Ultra hits 5,000 mAh, highlighting that longevity (cycle life) matters more than raw capacity in real use. Apple’s improvements—2‑nm A20 Pro, better thermals, vapor cooling—are promising, but in the long run Android phones still lead in endurance.
