NASA announced SpaceX Crew-13, a four-person crew for the ISS: NASA's Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, CSA's Joshua Kutryk, and Roscosmos's Sergey Teteryatnikov; they are set to launch in mid-September for Expedition 75 to conduct scientific investigations and technology demonstrations in support of future Moon and Mars missions and Earth benefits.
Jessica Watkins, an Army veteran and member of the far-right Oath Keepers, has been sentenced to 8.5 years in prison for her role in the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol. Watkins was convicted of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding and other felony charges. The judge said her efforts at the Capitol were "aggressive" and lacked remorse. Watkins founded and led a small militia in Ohio and mobilized her group in coordination with the Oath Keepers to Washington, DC. Two of Watkins' co-defendants were sentenced to 18 and 12 years in prison, respectively, for seditious conspiracy.
