
Honda Targets $9B in Savings by Slashing Supplier Costs
Honda plans to cut more than $9 billion in costs over the next four years by pressuring suppliers to lower prices and increasing sourcing from China, aiming for about a 30% cost reduction in three component categories—pressed/forged parts, electrical parts, and software-defined vehicle parts—with a broader target of 1.5 trillion yen in savings by 2030.
