
Botswana clinches historic World Relays 4x400m win as Pillay posts fastest relay leg
Botswana won the men’s 4x400m at the World Relays in Gaborone with 2:54.47—the third-fastest time ever—featuring Letsile Tebogo and Collen Kebinatshipi; Lythe Pillay of South Africa delivered the fastest relay leg in history (42.66). The United States did not contest the event, leaving its all-time fastest splits to historical benchmarks set in 1993 Worlds and the 2024 Olympics.
