Long-range Ukrainian drone strike kills at least 13 in Nizhnekamsk, Russia
Ukrainian drones hit Nizhnekamsk in Russia’s Tatarstan region, hitting the Tanevo oil refinery; at least 13 people were killed (including a child) and about 75 injured. Uzbek citizens were among the dead, and several civilians were reportedly staying in a hostel. The strike is one of the deadliest in the war and follows earlier hits on the same refinery as Kyiv says the targets are revenue/logistics for Moscow’s war, while Russia vows punishment. Moscow also reported large-scale drone defenses overnight.
