
Bond rout rattles markets as yields rise and oil climbs
Global bond selling pushed yields higher and oil prices above $90 helped lift energy shares, sending U.S. equities lower at the open with tech-heavy Nasdaq leading the declines (about 1%), while the Dow and S&P 500 slipped roughly 0.2% and 0.5%. Nvidia and Intel were among notable tech drags as borrowing costs and inflation concerns resurfaced.
