The death toll from Russian shelling of the city of Lyman in the Donetsk region has risen to eight, with five others injured. The attack targeted private houses and resulted in fires in residential and commercial buildings, as well as vehicles. The Ukrainian Interior Ministry reported the updated casualty figures and stated that a total of 13 people were injured in the incident.
